This is an album design for the bands, Warren Franklin & the Founding Fathers, and Kind of Like Spitting. They told me they had a clean and simple vision for the album, so I went for a minimal approach. As for the story behind it, independent bands and artists are constantly on the run, touring and on the road with not much time spent at home between treks. To project this thought, the only imagery I wanted to utilize were two penguins coming together: an animal that lives in a very desolate and cold environment, that will travel hundreds of miles just for their mate. This motif is carried out throughout most of the record, from the lyrics sheet down to the label.
