This is cassette tape design for the international release of Of Us Giants’ new album, Nova Scotia. I had a very personal connection with this album, and it made me think that no matter how far music and humanity progress, music still remains the most natural aspect of our lives. It’s constant. It’s unpredictable. Music is like the collective conscious, and it can transcend language. Even if you live in a concrete jungle, you can still go home at the end of the day, turn on your favorite artist, and let their music bring out your inner, natural self. Who you actually are and how you feel. That is the tree roots coursing through the veins. It’s the feeling you get when you discover your new favorite song, and you just let it fill you up to the point that the emotion will almost burst out of you. That is the tree growing from the wrist.
